Our trip to Motul gave us a real taste of Mexican-Yucatecan culture. Motul is actually a pretty small town, but we visited on the night of their festival for their patron saint, so it was packed with people. There was a corrida (spanish-style bull fight), booths set up all around with fair-type games, food, crafts, etc., and there was a fireworks show!
